March 27 2016… Happy Easter

Coconut.

Yogurt and coffee.

I helped mother in law make her mothers Easter bread. It turned out amazing and 2nd loaf was with few rum soaked raisins in it.

So Easter feast. All sort of stuff and a little too much of stuff. Had family over for the dinner.

Easter bread with butter, hmm.. I should have used not salted butter on it just didn’t like the butter so much.

Then there was few desserts. So mother in law made some strawberry cake. I didn’t have any of the desserts that day since I was full already.

Then someone got this thing. Fruit tart I think it might be called.

Then there was home made cobbler.

March 27 2015… there is reason for everything

Coffee with sweetened condensed milk.

Chicken and rice taco, cheese cake slice and some bottled cold coffee. I liked that a little better then the other flavor form the same brand.

So someone took grill to work and others went to get some food to grill on. So we ended up making burgers and yes I did regret opening that soda.

So after work we chilled out and talked about this and that and had some food.

Had second burger since they kept cooking them.

And then had a slice of cake. That cake was quite good. I liked the 1st layer of it but the second near the end when you got that nice fake strawberry flavored mega sweet preserve no good. I liked the fluffy stuff a lot, have no idea what it was.

Austin Texas Argus Fermentables ginger perry. Usually I’m not too big fan of ginger flavored stuff but that one was nice and yes not sweet for sure.

July 08 2014… cashew butter

Last time when we got cashew butter I didn’t get to even try it since it was there and then it was gone. But this time I made sure to have some of it and I liked it a lot, no wonder it got empty so quickly.

Strawberry basil cake, pancakes with cashew butter and cup of tea.

Sad looking banana what needed to be eaten. So I made sure that it got eaten rather then went to compost.

We where short on onion for dinner so pulled out one from garden.

Creamy tomato & spinach pasta. Found the recipe from Budget Bytes.

July 05 2014… we where going to make burgers

Peeps, they just make those things for all sort of holidays now. But those I my favorite ones out of them all what I have had so far. Thy just have that nice old marshmallow taste.

Cheese quesadilla with tea and tomatoes.

Bread (home made) with liver paste and cheese, strawberry basil cake and glass of milk.

Since we where going to make some burgers today I made some nice fresh buns for them but it turned out that they canceled the burger for dinner plan. Brother in law birthday was on 4th so we where going to make b-day dinner for him and he wanted burgers. This time buns turned out right size since I took the advice I saw somewhere how to make burger buns, it was you just flatten them a little before baking them and it seemed to work.

It has been long since I had that cider. It’s good cider and even better over ice. Crispin apple cider.

Since no burgers the we made some rice and fried up vegetables to go with it.

June 11… something green

Snacked on few of those string cheese stuff. They are good to snack on time to time.
