Since today we had so called open house and all family friends where invited we needed quickly some sugar cookies decorated. So worked on that in the morning and father in law made for of hes own as well.

So found some time to eat breakfast after decorating some cookies.

we had all sort of stuff on the table for people to crab and eat one was potato cheese soup and scones.

Crackers and some stuff. There was a lot of people over tat day some came and left others stayed for some time.

Really good hard lemonade.

And good seasonal shandy.

I finished off lentil soup with coconut milk.

Coffee, cookies, scone and yogurt what I got thinking it was budding. But non the less it was good yogurt and reminded me sour cream with cocoa powder.

Little sweet wafers. So funny I do remember they sold big sheets of just plain wafers back in Estonia but here you can’t find them.

Pumpkin cookies and kolache.

I wanted to make something out of quinoa but something warm not some cold salad. So I ended up finding quinoa enchilada casserole and I had all the stuff to make it. It came out good even could have used a little more spicy stuff. Quinoa enchilada casserole recipe.

Jolly Traveler winter shandy.

Since we where out about we stopped to get a burger from IN-N-OUT. So funny when they whee filling our order the one who added fries seemed to be a little confused since it was 2 burgers and just one order of fries. But ya 2 baskets of fries it a little too much. I had black coffee since didn’t realize that they had changes the way of ordering coffee. She did ask if 2 black coffees and I was ok with it since they use to have the creamer and stuff next to soda fountains.

Later at home had 2 slices of pie. Interesting she used some dark chocolate under her filling so the pie crust won’t get soggy.

When I saw that Shandy I just had to grab it. I thought I missed the pumpkin one or they just didn’t sell it around our area. It was good but for sure could have used more spices in it or pumpkin juice or so, it tasted more like original shandy to be honest.

Nachos with some turkey. So funny how the beans and cheese go so well with corn chips.

Almond ring danish.

Pork tamales and tacos, I just had one taco what had just cheese, eggs and beans.

Liverwurst on bread.

Seems we did some more grilling this Friday at work. Just some meat (sausage, chicken, beef) in soft tortillas. I had some of the Gold Top cider but I did share with others since there where some who did say that they have never had hard apple cider and they though it was all some sweet stuff.

To be honest the meat was good.

And then there was some cake as well. It was way too big one for so few people.

Apple ale.

Traveler grapefruit ale, it really tasted like grapefruit.
